lostscout Journeyman Registered: 10/17/03 Posts: 51 Loc: 40.53088N 111.91328W	I have the 3mm cord, tensile is 3200 lbs when using a static line it should be 15 x your weight, at 250 you would need 3750 although the 5mm cord holds 5000 lbs your only 550 over using the 3mm, and in an emergency situation... you make the choice, 3mm is designed for > 200 lbs
