I use a Spec-Ops T.H.E. Wallet . It looks bigger, but because it spreads things out it ends up thinner. And it fits in a standard sized back pocket. I bought it because I'm always putting my wallet in a cargo pocket and figured I might as well use a bigger wallet, but I was surprised it still fits in a regular pocket, and is thinner.

LA Wallet I bought one of these and I'm so happy with it. I have ID, 3 credit cards and I can fit quite a bit of cash in it. I fold the money in half and slip behind my ID. No more fat wallet for me. Actually about 2 months ago I refined my EDC for the summer. I'm very happy with the setup. I carry all I need and I'm still comfortable with what's in my pockets. Adam

Buisness card holders. Basically the same size as a credit card but thick enough to hold a few of them. Can fit any vital cards and some money into them easy

A chiropractor convinced me to quit carrying a big fat wallet in my hip pocket. Now I use a business card holder in a front pocket. I also pared it down to just the essentials.

I went through the same thing a while back. I gave up my wallet for a small leather business car holder about the size of or maybe a little thinner than the LA Wallet. Holds my driver's license, checkcard, credit card, insurance card, son's insurance card, a couple of business cards (go figure) and a phone card (for emergencies). I don't use cash for anything these days so that isnt and issue, but I do usually keep one or two twenty dollar bills in there for emergencies as well.

I still have the same thick conventional wallet full of all my Ccards, library card, etc, but I keep it in my messenger bag along with all the other stuff I used to "stuff" into my pants. There's a reason why women have purses, and I don't mind using my messenger bag as one. Given my size, no one makes much fun of me with it on. Besides, it isn't worn like a purse, it is a messenger bag and is slung like a bandolier across the body diagonally. It looks almost tactical. It is also a good alternate place to stow my Taurus 40 when the heat is on and I am not able to put it in my shorts! I have another that doubles as a possibles bag when I am out hunting. They really are a life altering concept.

Coghlan's came up with this "Waterproof travel wallet". I wonder if this could live up to the task... You know, daily use... Open one side, take the Visa out, put it bag, close the flap, repeat. Purdy cheap though! And possibly slimmer than any leather wallet.

I use one of these for EDC. After a fem months, you have to change it, because it separates in two halves. But as it is relatively cheap, I don't mind.

I have been carrying the T.H.E. Jr wallet for a few weeks now, and I am slowly getting used to it. I have taken my wallet out of my pocket while driving for 15 years or so, and it makes for a much more relaxing driving experience.

I use a Witz wallet around my neck for my DL, AAA card and a few credit cards. I carry my money in a money clip in my pocket, along with my most used credit card. Works for me.

Try your local Sears. I found a wallet there that is the size of a large business card holder (thicker) & has a money clip on the outsized. It rides well in the front pocket. Made by a company called Buxton. They hold up remarkably well for a thin leather wallet.

Wow, wish this post would have been there about a month ago -- about the time I lost my Space Pen <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> . I had tried to keep it in the crease of my existing wallet, but it kept coming of the clip. Started keeping it in my front pocket again, then just wasn't there when I went to use it later that day.

Fisher makes a wallet with a holder for the space pen. Saw it on the web site, not in person, but looks interesting.

I decided go with the Eagle Creek Coin Pocket. In the outside ID pocket I put my driver's license and most-used credit card. The little window is not really usable for someone to see the driver's licence information very good. In the back velcro pocket I may put some business cards. I wish that pocket were a zippered pocket. On the small loop seen on the left I put a split ring. Inside the zippered compartment I have some bills and other cards/papers. Extra coins will go there as well.

the space pen wallets are on the fisher web site and probably others as well, [maybe less expensive on other sites]. http://www.spacepen.com/usa/index2.htm[wallet is in the specialty area of the website] I have a bullet pen in a small leather wallet with a note pad and a few slots for credit cards that was sold by T. Shipley on their web site, but it is no longer available. I thought I had lost it, and it was lost here in the house for about a year, but just recently found it -- now have the bullet pen in my psk where it belongs anyway. But it was handy in the leather wallet too, may have to get another bullet pen for that one.

I have to second the recommendation for the Mission Wallet. I have had mine for over a year and love it. I originally bought it to supliment my "real" wallet, and after a week I just stopped carrying the other. This thing is great. No more bulk.
