Saw one of these at a local shop. Looks useful , anyone have any thoughts on it?

I does look very usefull. I just can't get past my visions of slicing my hand off with it after engaging the release lever on accident. Also not sure about the durability since it is on a rotator pin rather than having a true full or even half tang. Due to the tang issues it's really only as strong as a folding knife rather than a fixed blade and there are a few different knife/saw combo locking folding knives on the market that are more compact and with which I am probably less likely to lose fingers.

Look at www.knifeforums.com
The disigner of the knife is on line there, and there was a long discussion about thr lock. The upshot was that there has never been a reported failure. I've gotten weird about knives: if I can't hold it, I don't buy it (except for customs, of course). One of our local stores just ordered some revolvers, and if it feels good, I'm going to buy one.

PS - there are two models -- a 'Hunter', an another that slips my mind.

I have read the good reviews on Knifeforums.com, but I'm still hesitant (like Brian) about getting one. Also, there are actually three versions of the revolver. There's the SEAL-revolver, Hunter-revolver, and the Double Action Revolver (which has clip point and tanto blades). I EDC a SAK, with a woodsaw, so I don't really need another saw. I would rather have a good, full-tang, fixed blade.
