I like the saws on SAK's or on my leatherman tools. You can use the saws for other things beside fire prep. You can carve notches in wood to make deadfall traps. Use the back of them as scrapers for fire steels. Cut larger pieces that you can't break. I've seen photo's of some large diameter trees 6-8 range cut down with a saw on a SAK.

I've used wire saws in the past and find the saw on a SAK or leatherman to be more versatile.
