I agree that our borders need something beyond broken surveillance cameras and understaffed border crossings.

I also agree that if we are attacked there will be a large loss of life, as well as a huge economic loss. The cost would be staggering, but I don't think it would be the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak.

I wasn't too surprised briefly working in the hinterlands of Montana a couple of years ago -- I could have just pointed my car north on any one of many roads and been over the border in minutes. Scary.

Hopefully something is done to secure our country sooner rather than later.
