I looked at those in passing but thought our own militaries issued machete was much better. Its called the Woodman's Pal and is made practically in your back yard. I have owned one for a number of years and think it is a well-made tool.
I grew up in an area were I had the chance to spend many hours swinging a machete and still use them several times a year. Only now I have to choose from the 8 or so I have managed to add to my tool collection.
