Well, it is about survival, isn't it ??

anyway ....

today, it was again very hot in Paris and I said to myself :
"let's have fresh air & fun for the same price !"
So I took my bike and ride up to the Champs Elys?es, la plus belle avenue du monde !!

There, I went to a theater to see "Madagascar".
H?las, the A/C system was down (!?!), so no air conditionning .....
aargh ....

But fun, there was.
One question : is this movie supposed to render a culturally correct reprsentation of New-Yorkers or what ???

" I like New York in June, how 'bout you?..." enough of Robin Williams in street rags Truly, this californian loved New York. Remember that movies here are produced in Hollywood, but usually filmed in Canada with australian actors. Unless it's Woody Allen bashing how wierd California is while defending his marriage to his own stepdaughter and evicting nesting hawks from his penthouse view of Central Park. Personally, I still like Casablanca. The airport was in Burbank, Bogie let the band play the french national anthem and Claude Raines ruined sales of Vichy water in the USA and Perriers been the mineral water of choice with a slice of lemon on Hollywood and Vine ever since. America knew who it's friends were, and more importantly, they knew we were too. We even had Marlene Dietrich to uphold the goodness of german culture. Hollywierd couldn't capture a 'culturally correct representation' of itself, unless Mel Brooks produced it.
