I just did the pencil sharpener tinder trick! Wow! Almost as good as cottonballs/vaseline! Much quicker than getting shavings with a knife!

You might want to add a second pencil sharpener when flying. While it is not much there is a small blade that should pass security. Break away the plasting and you have a small about an inch long blade. It might not be that sharp but a little sand paper or a handy rock will give you something to cut with.
