I generally take it for shopping or visiting or hiking etc - most things when I'm away from my home.

I don't usually take it to work, and I don't always take it if I'm going "out" pubbing etc in the evening. Nowadays I have enough confidence in my EDC that I don't feel I need the waist pack.
