Greetings, I have been a lurker for a while and have been searching old posts for an answer to this question, with little luck.
Can anyone point me towards a flashlight with the following specs: Aluminum Tailswitch 123 Lithium Battery (single) LED uniform diameter (slightly larger than the battery in both dimensions) somewhat reasonable in price ($100 give or take)
Thanx again <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

http://www.hdssystems.com/EdcBasic.html Some say that hds is a rip off from ARC (rip). Some say that things got stolen and we should not support HDS lights. I say it's a damn good light but a bit expensive.

Inova, all the way. Either an X-5 or an X-0. Check 'em out. Best made lights around. Not overpriced as such as some with the initials S-F with pretentions of 'tactical.'
It's a great little light. Super bright. I love it.....until someone stole it.... <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

Peter Gransee has started business again as Mega Tech Devices LLC, and soon will be taking orders for the Arc AAA Rev.4. Twice as bright as the old, longer battery life. $30 standard, $40 premium. I will buy one this time, still holding on to my Arc LSH-P, but not edc anymore. See the Candlepower forums under the Manufacturer column for more info on the rebirth of the Arc line!
Q3 is shorter by 2cm (.78") ; pocket clip (a bit loose, I wouldn't bet on it...) ; no lanyard attachment ; large beam, with a hot spot in the middle ; T1 has a more uniform body, no pocket clip ; lanyard hole ; .narrower beam, with a few black rings.
I would also put my vote in for the 3w Nuwai Q3 flashlight. You can get 2 for $52.00 from Amondotech 2 for $52 Nuwai Q3 Flashlight Offer . I have dealt with this company before and have been very happy.
I have a couple X-5s that that I love and for $30ea it's hard to beat. A little large than I would use for EDC but perfect for what I use them for which is sticking one in my BOB and one in my nightstand.

I say I agree <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Based on the pic and the specs it looks like a great little light. It is certainly pricey though.
