Heheh...
I would LOVE to have one of those.....
You could cut down trees, boil water, carve utensils out of rock with a classic like that....

I learned Kendo at a Zen Temple when my long legs kept cramping up during meditation. My Roshi was a lot like Yoda, short and deadlier than I could ever hope to be. I finally 'defeated' him by dragging a huge two handed claymore into the zendo, the scraping sound wrecking several hopefull attainments of satorie and inspiring a impromptu tea ceremony and exchange of haikus and bawdy limericks. I've always loved the studied ballet of swordsmanship. A lightsabre SAK would be so elegant compared to this incessant flicking of Philipine Butterflys, gravity knives and um, RSKs

When much younger, I praticed aikido.
I also trained of few years to study Iai-do.
Never seriously enough, to overcome my feable abilities. Never reached the first dan level... sigh......

But having handled a false sabre, I became interested in a real one, just for the beauty of its simple, elegant design.
At first I bought a WW II officer saber, remounted as a katana (at twice its real value ... well... you have to learn ...).
Then, a few years later, after having put some money on the side, I went to an antique shop and bought a 19th century katana.
And then a wakisashi...
and then a tanto ...
and since a lot of different knives...
