The Universal Lure:

A recent article in Hooked on the Outdoors magazine's Fishing Edition, noted one of the "experts" as having a White Bucktail Jig as his favorite and commenting that it is the only lure in US Navy Seals Survival Kits.

Bucktails catch virtually all species of fish in all parts of the world, and that’s why the U.S. Navy included bucktails with survival kits issued to aviators. With those credentials to recommend them, I believe all anglers should include bucktails in their tackle arsenal.
