Plastic soap holders are available in various sizes.
I am toying with a medium size Metamucil container (I am not a fan of overly small containers like the Altoid tins.) that is tall which would be ideal for fixed blade knives and saw blades.
Others on this site have suggested chewing tobacco containers.
