Sitrep:

Was at the station until 3:00 AM, river crested @ about 2:30am
Small crew slept in station, three guys slept in trucks.

0621 AM - Marine Rescue, Person drove into water, tried to escape, found clinging to a branch in the road.
most of day, waiting for the river to drop - it didn't drop much, not enough for pump details to start, prepped equippment, blocked traffic.
Alll water wells are contaminated.
About 100 residents of a trailer park are unreachable, they will need water soon.

I've been trying to resist participating in this thread, but I figure I'm "dammed" if I do and "dammed" if I don't.

I hope you guys get some relief soon. It looks like a cold and miserable way to spend one's time. When you get a chance please give us a "lessons learned" post.
