Anyone had any experience with this littel ax?? Is it any good?? How would it stack up against the very popular Grandsfors Wildlife Hatche??? Thanks for your help!

I've seen it in the store, it sure looks cute. I think I might be more interested in the Gator Combo-Axe. It's a hair lighter, including a fixed-blade knife in the handle, and it seems to have a better grip.

I've been using one for about 3 years now and i'm pretty impressed with it. It is extremely light and sharp. It works well for batoning, but because it is so small and light it doesn't chop as quickly as a normal sized hatchet. If I was to buy another one though I would get the new Gator Combo-Axe like mentioned above, the fixed blade and grippy handle really complete the package. <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
