i don't but they looks like platypus water carriers. Platypus bottle's are good, i did made one leak, but that only after heavy use.

The opening to fill the bag is about 1/4 inch in diameter. So it's hard to fill and keep clean. The small size is too small. And they are on the expensive side, there are better, cheaper alternatives.

Ah the advantages of a multi ethnic nieghborhood. My local deliman is ex IDF and has a few . Shomer itself is a reputable company, though their email seems to be kaput. Anyway, Shlomo filled my unit for free and I have to laugh at the website disclaimer. The small flask is something you would carry in a survival vest prefilled, much like the olive USAF version. This is in response to weight and compactness and a larger, empty bladder type bag is often an item in a seat cushion type survival kit. Never discount the advantage of even a few of the thin foil type water packets. Get yourself nice and dehydrated and try blowing a signal whistle, swallowing medicine or just thinking straight. That small amount is our altoid tin; minimal and meant to facilitate bigger and better solutions with time. Thats when the larger unit comes into play. The small opening is enough to drop my tabs in,the clear plastic allows for visual inspection ( note recent posts about solar purification) the holes for a paracord strap usefull and you really can carry heated water without distortion. $3 for a food grade container with these features isn't so bad compared to a fancy bottle of Perrier or my grandmother's Waterford whisky decanter <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
