Following some link in this forum, which I can't locate at the moment, I found what looks to be the perfect PSK container for my uses. The "Trangia Mess Tin (small)" This sure looks exactly like what I've been hoping for. Searching Google shows places in Europe and Australia (I think) that have these, but I was hoping for a U.S. supplier to save on shipping costs.

Has anyone located a U.S. supplier? Maybe even a local shop in the Denver, CO area (I can dream, can't I ???)

I purchased mine from www.moosineer.com/MooseMain.asp?Option=Detail&ID=Mess+Tins . I bought both large and small sizes. Although the small is a bit deep for pocket carry, I think that it's perfect for fanny pack or day bag carry. The edges are not rolled or smothed and they can cut you if you're not careful. Sandpaper should take care of this. But, isn't that why we carry band-aids?
