I'm impressed. Maybe it's time for me to get my BK-9 a new sibling <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.

I know what you mean. Unless you're driving a lot of screws, most of the functions on most multitools don't seem to get much use. I usually use the Micra to cut my nails. But given that my other EDC (a Victorinox Rucksack) doesn't have scissors, it does come in handy sometimes.

I had a BK-11 for a while, and I really liked the design. It was a well-built piece. I bought a Tek-lock for it. The neck carry is okay, but I carried it on my pack more often than not. I finally gave it to my wife, because I didn’t like how it fit my hand. It was just too small. Durn the bad luck.

She loves it. You can beat the tar out of it with a baton if the need arises.
Randall’s Adventure Training is putting out a three-inch blade this spring. I think I’ll like the fit more, if the stats I saw on it are right.

As I've said before, I REALLY like the size/shape/material of the blade on the BK11, but wish there was a longer handle.

It would be nice if Becker took the BK11 blade and attached it to a BK10 handle (maybe slightly downsized)

Maybe a 4" long 0.150" thick blade with a slightly less robust BK10 handle. It wouldn't have to be a neck knife. Sorry...getting off topic. Just day dreaming.

I like the Becker Necker. Found it a little heavy around the neck. I wrapped the handle in black 550 cord and laced the sheath to the back of my black waist pack. It was hard to see, but easy to reach.Never had a problem the knife coming out of the sheath.

I often wear FrontSite's Hideaway Knife. It is a bit expensive but incredibly useful and so lightweight you don't know it's there.

I wear it with the "bro clip" clipped inside my shirt rather than around my neck. I have the S30V version, straight, rather than the curvies or Titanium that she offers.

I was a little concerned about a nylon cord around my neck.

I pulled the inside out of some 550 cord, and replaced it with some dog tag chain. A loose stitch to hold it together, and it will break if pulled hard.

I do not want to be choked. <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
