Hello:

I'm looking for a source of thin pencils like the ones found
in Doug's PSK. the small red one's.

I'm looking for maybe 30 - 40 of them.

Anyone know where I can buy some.

The golf score card one's are too big for my use.

Thanks,

Ikea is a furniture store. they give golf pencils to customers so you can write down on the piece of paper what stuff they want and do a little planning.

here you go:

I saw the link to ebay for the golf pencils.
I can get tons of those. I'm looking for the smaller diameter ones. Like the small red ones in Dougs PSK.

They are about 1/2 the diameter of a stanard golf pencil.

Thanks,

You could get out yer pocketknife and custom whittle them to whatever diameter you desire - storebought is not the only solution to every problem...

One German company has them: http://www.bleispitz.de/ - it would be the 5.5mm diameter

Could these be termed "Bridge pencils" by some makers? http://www.atlaspen.com/static/products/811.php?item=811&pv=1

This company has something called a toothpick pencil. You can see it here.

Those toothpick pencils are what I'm looking for.
Problem is I need 50 not the minimum order of 500.

thanks for all the input.

I notice Doug's PSK's (saw some at a camping store) now come with normal golf pencils.

If you want an ultra-tiny writing implement, you could use a piece of the lead from a drafting pencil. You can get those leads at art stores. They're a little smaller in diameter than those toothpick pencils, i.e. still thick enough to write with if you're a little careful. I think 2mm thickness is standard.

(Edit:) Googling found this: http://www.pencilpages.com - wow. More pencil info than you could want, and a classified ads section where you could ask about particular types of pencils.
