Anonymous Unregistered	I just bought two of these for my kids backpack (they will be used for the chest strap), the whistle works great. I guess if you remove the clipping mechanisms and file it down, you'll end up with a really small whistle for a PSK or to put on a necklace. The whistle is not as loud as a Fox40. Stefan
