Polak187:
If Doug approves it and gives us reasonable guidelines, I would put up one each of the Italian stilletoes I sell; a black handled one, a white handled one, and a stag handled one. At $55, $55, and $67 each retail price, there is a potential of $177.00 or more in case of overbids to the ETS Foundation. The three knives would be auctioned as one lot to make all necessary arrangements easier on me and the ETS Foundation. In other words you bid on and win all 3 as one lot or nothing.
I would want the bidding and payments to go directly to the ETS Foundation in my name so that I can claim a tax credit on the contribution.
All bidders must submit that they are 21 years of age or older with their bids because the 4" blade length of these knives might cause Wisconsin authorities to look at these items as "dangerous weapons", which can only be sold to people 21 years of age or older in Wisconsin.
Because some states do not allow possesion of bayonet bladed knives by their citizens, if the winning bidder has the package seized by his state or postal authorities, he understands there will be no refund of his bid by the ETS Foundation, and no replacement shipment by me.
When the ETS Foundation advises me (By postal mail, aka "snail mail".) of the winning bid and the address of the individual, I will mail at my expense to addresses in the 48 continental states. Hawiai, Alaska, and anyone outside the continental United States will have to arrange prepaid shipping and send me the paperwork to ship to them.
No pictures are included at this time until Doug approves the auction.
