- neck knife "La-Griffe-Style" (exept during flights)
- mini capsual with compass, photo of my wife, some cash, some puritabs ...
- flint rod in shrinktube (exept during flights)
- flashlight micro lenser in waterproof mini-capsual


These items I carry whenever I leave my home.

in pant pockets:
- keys
- mojo
- bandana
- some coins
- BIC-lighter

on belt or stuffed in other pockets (depends on clothing)
- PDA with cellphone + GPS + radio
- otterbox 1000 with the usual contends (exept during flights)

Just barely. The best thing I have found besides a hacksaw blade is the back edge of the saw on my Wave. For some reason that outsparks just about everything else--including, oddly enough, the saw teeth and the file.
