That's because we clean up after ours! <grin> We carry lights when we walk them at nigt for that reason as well. If we don't keep it cleaned up, then it won't matter whether we step in it as eventually dogs will and track into the house.

The second is my BOB. Now, the reason I say I have two is because my bag goes everywhere with me. It even comes in to work with me, as well as everything on my first-line EDC. I don't carry it into stores with me, obviously because it's generally frowned upon. But restaurants usually don't care or even look twice most of the time. I get a booth facing the door and put it under my feet.

Ok, so I haven't figured out how to get the sink in yet...But give me some time. This BOB has been an on-going project for the last 3 years. I really should take each item out, evaluate if I really need it in there and go from there. Could I get rid of a bunch of stuff?? You bet. But the problem is that I use this bag for many different applications, from preparedness, to long day hikes, to overnight trips, hauling things to and from work, geocaching, etc, etc. At one point I was carrying an entire set of extra clothing. That took up WAY too much room. Now it's just socks. Why do I have 2 pr of leather gloves? I have no idea. I guess I know the value of protecting your hands. One set is pretty much on their way out.

True enough...and with bumping locks the picture isn't needed anyway. For those who don't know what bumping locks is all about, go to youtube or google video and watch several vids on bumping (keywords: bump lock, bumping, etc). Especially look for the TV segment from Denmark (about 1/2 hour). You'll also see little kids doing it. Anyone think their locks make them or their property secure?
