Amazing, all you can found .... I guess you have to really far,far away from civilisation to find nothing of the sort (even Fedex employe, stranded on deserted island, can find useful stuff...)

Unfortunately, there is nowhere on the earth - nowhere - where garbage does not wash on shore with near-constant frequency. Aside from the garbage we toss out there (Ocean dumping of trash is still common) what do you think happens to all the stuff that was washed out to sea in the hurricanes and tsumanis?
Out in the middle of the ocean, there are vast (hundreds of miles wide) discs of trash where ocean currents form a giant eddy.

But anyway -

You never did solve the water problem! That's a biggie!

Well I kinda did. Water from the marshes was drinkable and a lot of containers inland had rain water in them. It was raining later on so that was another source of water. Another thing is that using that alumnium tray and metal covering from the door in theory I could create a some kind of destilation unit. Boil the water in the pan and collect vapor on the sheet at the slope. Condensation will than drip into a container and that should be purified. But that's just in theory.

That was interesting and funny. Why didn't you try to salvage more stuff from the plane? Evnageline Lilly may have been in there!

Good thread.

If I thought Evangeline Lilly was going to show up I'd salvage the entire plane if necessary. Heck if Evangeline Lilly showed up there would also be no need for signalling equipment either, as I would certainly no longer wish to be rescued!

Yawn!

Oh yeah, I remember her as the dipsy woman during the episode of "Lost" where they found a trunk full of knives and she was wearing her knife toward the front touching the inside of her thigh. For someone who lived in the Phillipines in a grass hut as a missionary, she didn't learn much about knife carry.

Too skinny, give me Raquel Welch (Before breast enhancement surgery.) anytime especially during the filming of 1,000,000 B.C. (Even though that film was made after breast enhancement surgery.).

Bounty screamed: "GIVE ME Raquel Welch! "

No problem . . . so long as you don't chicken out when she rings the front door bell!

You devil . . . there's more to you than meets the eye!

Long live and prosper.

Arde:

If you know for sure she is coming, give me some notice so that I can order oxygen tanks and other necessary sundry items to keep me alive when she arrives. I'm also going to have to find my old Masters & Johnsons books on "Human Sexuality", and "Human Sexual Response", to find out what comes after we say hello (It's been awhile. ) Don't let the books titles pique your interest unless you are into $9.00 words used strictly in an academic and research oriented manner. When I bought the first one, I had to go out and buy a medical dictionary so I could figure out what they were talking about. Talk about dry reading.

I have one of those 5 foot posters of Raquel from "1,000,000 B.C. and I am willing to bet it would fetch a decent price on Ebay. I also have an older 5 foot hippie poster with a young man and a young woman in the "Lotus" position which is probably worth more than Raquel, but that depends on wheather your interest is valuable old posters or gorgeous women on valuable old posters.

who cares if she wears knife incorrectly, she looks good enough to eat. Yummy . she has nice body. Breasts aren't the only attraction. The whole package is well rounded.

How can you NOT know this lovely actress from "LOST"? I don't watch the show and I know who she is.
