Arde, glad I could help. The first two have a metal blade and a grip made from very tough composite, both are quite popular amongst Offroaders here in Europe. I paid $18 for the shovel and $55 for the folding spade. The third model is all plastic, small, lightweight yet sturdy.

You know....Looking at that just gave me an idea....
When folded there is a LOT of extra space in there...What if you would the grip with para-cord or duct tape to both act as both a partial lid, and for there own uses, then pack the rest with a survival kit! I have been meaning to pick one of those up next time I get to REI and them may give me an added incentive....But that means that I will probabally have to get TWO of them, and they are NOT cheap(about $20.00).
