Someone in another thread wondered whether EDC/PSK would be of any use in a tsunami situation. I think it certainly would have been beneficial to this guy.

And that's the second time this week I've read of someone getting rescued after waving garments in the air. A pattern is starting to emerge here.

It's like the lottery - you can't win if you don't play. If you carry a PSK maybe you'll hang on to it, maybe you won't. If you don't carry one you definitely do without.

I've never had to use my PSK & hopefully it'll continue to be opened only for periodic maintenance. I haven't won any serious money on the lottery but I still play a buck every Wed & Sat.
