I would like to know if anyone has tried the new Gerber 800 Legend. If so, how does it stack up against the Wave?

Regards

N Price.

Since I don't have a Wave, I can't compare. The Legend works well, but is a bit large. I really like having all locking tools, and like the versatility of being able to change wire-cutter and saw blades. It feels good in my hand. The blade is good, but not used that often since it is a back-up for a A. G. Russell Featherlite I carry. Scissors are first rate as are the wire cutters. Last night I used the cutters to remove a large fishhook from a dog last night, causing an Animal Shelter official to say "that cut that hook like butter" Out of curiosity I'd like to see a Wave to compare, but I'm very satisfied.

a prodigal scout, just trying to be prepared.
