That is one way to be bright without additional schooling.

I'll bet his girlfriend sings, "You light up my life" quite often.

A cop will never be able to pull him over if one of his cars headlights goes out.

With all those "torches" turned on, the magnetic flux around his body must really mellow out his, and anyone around him arthritis pains.

I have a (usable) parachute. It gets mad at me everytime I go past it because I don't use it anymore. Wife made me stop.

With all those flashlights, it's a good thing he's wearing dark sunglasses.

"...my wife made me stop."

Isn't that better than "Have a nice time, Honey" and rushing to the phone to call the insurance agent to up your coverage?

How about taking her camping? Nothing like being in the great outdoors to make you realize that you need to be prepared. Plus you could pass along tips on how she could use her gear. A Photon light and a mini Fox 40 don't take up much space. (If you swipe her keychain you could make the additions for her.) <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I feel your pain. I have family members as well that generally turn their nose up at the whole "survival" ideal. But, while she may not be interested I tend to agree that if you keep talking the talk some of the information will sink in. At the very least the idea of a Photon on her keychain may be achievable if you frame it from the standpoint that she can find the lock on her car. Keep the faith. My cousin once scoffed at the idea of hunting..."Why would I need to..that's what stores are for". But then I got him to go with me, he made his first kill and now he is one of my best hunting partners. The message will get through. For my family it only took a couple of lengthy power outages during ice storms and tornado season to see the light. Perhaps that's all your sister needs. When it becomes real to her...she'll turn around. Good luck.

She may be afraid of admitting to the possibility of disaster, so just try to sell it as"convenience".
