I used the standard 7 strand paracord available at most Surplus stores. I got mine through Sportmans Guide..pretty cheap if you pitch in with friends and split the S/H. I like the design and unlike the Slatts knot, it's not wide. Just my preference. Have fun making which ever design you choose.
