No prpoblem with the bracelet idea . But I think the Slatts knot is a better idea.

Most of my response was to answer your questions/comments. Plus some of the many ways it could be used.

Sure on his page he used a fancy clip. You don't really need it. You can start the first set of loops around a piece of paracord. For my belt I used an ordinary belt buckle.

And as I said this knot can be used to make a bracelet. It would be easy to incouporate a loop and sew on a button. A bracelet of about 10 or so feet would take about the same amount of time once you get the hang of it.

PS unless I get caught with mypants down I have my belt. As my pants are pretty much attached as much as any bracelet.
