This website has been a huge favorite of mine. I have really enjoyed reading and wanted to contribute. I am sure this topic has been covered before, but a rehash won't hurt.
I saw a "Survival Bracelet" at a gun show locally and set out trying to make my own. After several hours of research I stumbled..literally onto this site from an American soldier that shows step by step how to make one. Really easy way to carry 10 ft of para cord. I've made several using the button method and gave them to like minded indivduals for Christmas. Big hit. Hope this link works.

I know that knot as the cobra braid. Although, I can't remember if it comes apart real easily.

I like that and I especially like the idea of ankle wearing it (provided it was secure enough anyway). Does it unravel quickly or is it realitively time consuming to revert your bracelet back into cord?

I believe its also known as the boatswain/bosun (british/american spelling) plait, cobra stitch and soloman's bar.
Don't think its quick to unravel though, if you pull the core out(the loop formed at the beginning) you'll end up with a chain of hitches in the rope.
The Slatt's knot will unravel itself with a tug.

This works great. You can make it any width or length you like. I have a belt 53 inches long. It is 7 stitches wide. Barely fits through the belt loops. But it holds 150 feet of paracord.

Depends on what you mean by quickly. I had one entirely completed and had to unravel because it was too short for my wrist...seemed to me that it took only a matter of minutes. The knot is actually classified as a macrame knot.

The clip at the end is a neat idea, but it seemed to me that a bracelet on my ankle and one on my wrist would provide more flexibility. I may not need 150 ft at one time and 10ft seemed to be more manageble.

This idea is cool a belt of paracord, but honestly...I really never need that much at one time. It is a neat idea for carrying a large amount of the stuff, but if you ever needed a couple of feet of it....there goes your belt!

Yes, I had looked at few sites similar in my hunt...but the killer was that I wanted one continous piece of para cord. So I was really thrilled when I found that soliders website.
