i prefer my F1 over mine S1. The S1 is just a weird size, it's sure has little chopping power, but has lots of steel. F1 does a much beter job at most things. Thats why i sold my S1 awhile back. Nowdays i carry a smaller knife with a folding saw or hatchet.

That's what I have been thinking too, a F1 + machete might make a better setup. However I already have a large Benchmade RSK and a Helle Eggen, so the larger S1 looks like a better idea than yet another 9cm blade. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
