FAK wise. The field dressings are always good for any real bleeding (generally too big for me personally to carry EDC butthats just me), likewise the surgical gloves are something thats always nice to have on you.

Personally I don't find Triangular bandages that useful for first aid, as they aren't really used as a priority treatment, and they take up space that other more immediate use stuff might be taking up. Plus they are the thing thats normally most easy to improvise with other stuff. They do have a lot of uses, but you can often do the exact same thing with say a cut up shirt.

Consider something like a vent-aid or other simple CPR mask, they don't take up much room and you may end up thanking the Gods that you had one after you just had to perform CPR and found something out about the patient.

Also even though they are quite crappy, basic plasters tend to be useful all the time, especially when you cut yourself just a little bit and need to work with food or something else you don't want getting into the cut (or blood into it)

Rest of kit:
Personally I like zippos, and if you use them regularly its not a problem for EDC as they will always be filled, with a decent wick and flint, because after all you use it. They only suck if left somewhere (like a survival kit) for extended times and not sued and maintained.
The Swiss Champ is a decent multitool although mine has now been replaced with the Leatherman wave mainly because: The Pliers are better, and the Knives are soooooo much beter. However as you carry a seperate folder its maybe not so much of an issue (although I never have room to have two knives on me without my trouser bulging far to unseemly <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ). And the Champ does have a couple of things I wish my Wave had (namely a corkscrew and an emergency back up pen), and particular knife / multitools tend to be very much personal preference.
Oh and personally I don't really like the Maglight Solitare and prefere and LED light, but again I think thats going to be purely personal preference.

Thats all I can think of for now.
