Discovered that the first picture is severely lacking in quality. So I decided to post a new one. And here it is! This time I have annotated it:
The pocket FAK is on the complete left and contains:
1 field dressing
1 triangular bandage
1 paper bag
1 pair of surgical gloves
1 safety pin
I kept it minimal so it could be carried in my left coat pocket. It is no the only FAK I own (photo coming up).
Below right is my fake Zippo. The real star of the show is the Bic, naturally. However, it must be said that it?s not carried day to day. The fake will do fine as long as I keep a close eye on it. For hikes the Bic will come along, but the Zippo wins on looks every time.
Above that is the Swiss Champ in all its glory. Try to wear it on my belt but more often than not is left at home as I can not hide it ? important in college. To the right is a basic ?Bloc? lock knife. Blade length: 95mm, carried in coat pocket so no probs concealing it.
Keychain is attached to length of paracord together with the Solitaire. When the quest for the Fox40 is completed the BCB whistle will join the keychain.
Wallet contains list with important info such as NHS (National Health Service) patient registration and family contact numbers. Like to add signal mirror to the wallet though.
One thing you will not see on this photo, but is apparent on the previous is my watch. When I replaced the standard BCB button compass with a Silva I taped it to the strap. Aided me to get myself out of city centres the way I came in first time <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.
BTW Judging which photo I should post remains a difficulty for me. Camera plays up (will be returned) and the home monitor is very dark (h/w problem). So I can only check the quality at college?.If the quality is too poor please let me know.
