I wanted to let you know that two boys from our troop will have your kits in their day packs this weekend on their first adventure with winter hiking up in New Hampshire. A few of us are going to do a couple day hikes in the White Mountain National Forest, and your kits will be making the trip, just in case...

I have tried to explain that although we plan on day hikes, you always have to be ready in case you need to spend a night out. Obviously they are bringing water, food, clothing, etc in addition to the survival kits, but, they form a nice set of essentials to start with, and I just wanted to let you know that they are very much appreciated.
