Pete,

I wanted to let you know that two boys from our troop will have your kits in their day packs this weekend on their first adventure with winter hiking up in New Hampshire. A few of us are going to do a couple day hikes in the White Mountain National Forest, and your kits will be making the trip, just in case...

I have tried to explain that although we plan on day hikes, you always have to be ready in case you need to spend a night out. Obviously they are bringing water, food, clothing, etc in addition to the survival kits, but, they form a nice set of essentials to start with, and I just wanted to let you know that they are very much appreciated. Thanks again!

Hello paramedic-pete. My name is David and I am a S davidsaxplayer@hotmail.com tar scout with Troop 346 of Slidell, louisiana. I would like to have one of your survival kits please, if they haven't all been given away. I love learning about survival. I took the Wilderness Survival merit badge, the Emergency Prepardeness merit badge, and the First Aid and Camping merit badges, so I can know as much about survival, first aid and camping as possible. Please conmtact me. Thank you, David Ambrogio.

I am also interested in learning about survival gear and what to put 9in a survival pack and how to use it. I want to learn as much about survival as possible and I think this website will teach a whole lot.

Pete, I thought you'd appreciate this... a couple of items from your "kit" repaired a snow shoe this weekend. One of the boys broke the latch on the strap that goes over the top of your boot and holds it to the snow shoe binding. We used it as a learning experience. We told them to see what they had to fix it. A combination of a couple zip ties, and the lanyard from the small compass in your kit, did the trick!
