On Christmas day, my family and i are taking a trip to Copper Canyon in Mexico. We are traveling by bus/train and the entire trip will take one week. We are all traveling light. To deture theft, we are trying to carry "nontourist" looking packs.
We will be staying in hotels/hostels, and we will not be camping. There are two factors that limit me from taking my large kit + normal EDC. One- there are the normal theft dangers asociated with going to Mexico.
Two- Are there any Restrictions at the border(Texas)? I just wanted to ask for some imput before i start packing, on what kit contents to bring along. Also, where we are going, is going to be COLD.
