I wonder how I can earn my stripes in my own company...? <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

It can become confusing in a large company trying to know who is what 'rank' since every day has become casual day as far as dress code goes. Even higher paid professionals seem to get into the long-haired, Hawiian shirt look and can be mistaken for beachcombers.

I registered for the Draft, glad it didn't come to that when I was age eligable... Having grown up with a jarhead, grunt, shavetail and tamponhead in my family, I know how to work with most military people, and when possible, try to recognise that they had experiences that I will never have.

But I have a few, "No S**t, there I was" stories that most military people can understand and even laugh with me on.

It is all in how you respect yourself and then present yourself that points out the dicipline you had to go through when in the military. Too many feathermerchants out there never have had to go through it and don't understand.
