Just a note to the new concept. personally I find it distasteful to say the least. What is the point of shooting an animal online? See cruelty for the sake of cruelty. The animal is not utilised for a (lifesaving) purpose. What if the animal cripples away in a wounded state out of sight/range? WHAT THEN???

On a lighter note. What are the legal implications of shooting someone via the net? You can argue:-
"I wasnt even a thousand miles near him! It wasnt me alright!"

Are you insinuating that the photo of the fearsome Jackalope is made up? I'll have you know that the Rocky Mountain West is full of watering holes where a Jackalope head adorns the wall above the bar. I have yet to see a mounted Nessie or Bigfoot head--although I do occasionally see Sasquatch-looking fellows sitting at the bar. (I'll leave Oswald for another day.)

No, the infamous Deerbunny is more than a myth.

By the way, shooting any animal by proxy is in my opinion pretty chicken**** unless a person is handicapped in some way and thus unable to harvest the animal themselves.

Regards, Vince

Ya I saw it again on TV. This time on the local news. Apparently some sportsmans groups are pretty upset about it. That's is atleast according to Dallas, TX broadcast media.

Norad45:

I reread the original post, and I was not able to discern that it meant you would get whatever you shot actually sent to you.

Did you visit the site, and is that the case?

If it is the case, it would appear, based on the laws of some states, that you could be found guilty of hunting without a license, discharging an unlicensed firearm, and shooting animals in an unlicensed hunting preserve by your state or the state in which the "hunting" and kill take place.

As long as I can crawl out there myself, I prefer to do hunting in real time, in real woods, and with real guns.

You try going after Texas jack rabbits and you may wish you were hunting from hundreds of miles away. We don't have bears here but I have heard of a few mountain lions being eaten by wild jack rabbits.

Here in France we have our "Marseillais" (inhabitants of Marseille, on the Mediterranean sea) : one of their most wellknown (and oldest...) joke is about a sardine, a fish that was so big that it blocked the port entrance .......

Well I guess you, in the States, you have Texas people, to tell such stories ....

According to my dictionary, "exposure" has different meanings.
Do you mean "publicity" or "denunciation" .... ???
