I was interested in buying a few items from BCB and penrith, but being in england the cost would be pretty high to ship (~$40 for an empty mess tin for instance)

Does anyone know of any american distributers?

Try here for BCB. It's a company called Lewis International, Inc. I'm not sure about Penrith.

I've never found anyone that carried more than a few items and never for very long. I break down and mail order from the UK every few years. You might look for a supplier in Canada. There may be enough interest for a group order, if anyone wants to take it on.

I called Lewis International last week and they said that they are no longer the US distributor for BCB. I have emailed BCB and so far they have not answered any of my emails. I'm also interested in some of their stuff wnd would like to find the US distributor is anybody knows.

I'm not sure about Penrith, but their combat survial tin is sold by Triple Aught Design.

Lewis International is offering their own version of some BCB items under the name Proforce. I'm not sure of the quality of their kit. Triple Aught Design used to carry the BCB combat survial kit, but I believe they now carry the Pro Force kit. Brigade Quatermaster and US Cavalry carry the BCB version or at least used to.

Best Glide aviation will be the US distributor. I got an email from them last night and they said they are in the process of becoming the distributor. It will be about three weeks or so before they have any stuff in stock. You can contact them to see if they will be carrying what you want.
