I ordered a bunch of AMK Pocket Medics for my "Family Friendly" PSKs, because of the nice PVC bag and I can supplement tons in there. I found some online at Boaters World (Amazon.com tip) for a steal at $2.99 each. The picture SHOWED the kit in the PVC bag, and no additional comments. I just thought they were on sale. When I got them yesterday there is NO PVC bag, just some flimsy zip-lock style. It will do fine, I guess, but WTF?

I understand maybe the substitute bag is why the kits were a deal but honestly, I would've liked some reference to it on the site.

Eh, I'm just whining.

Sorry to hear it! I just got finished taking out all my FAK's out and organizing them. Phew, a chore.

I wish FRAASS was still in business...

Yep that blows. Some might say that the picture was a misrepresentation on the part of the vendor.

Sorry about that!. As you found out Boaters World does sell a less expensive version of the Pocket Medic in a re-sealable zip lockbag. We will get them to change the image, although that might take them a whille. THey should also be referring to it as the Pocket Medic ll.

Send me a SAE and let me know how many of the PM vinyl bags you need and we will send them to you at no charge.

Thanks, Frank Meyer

ftmeyer....
I bought one of your 'Comprehensive' kits...
Very nice!
You really need to include repacking instructions though
Man, that thing is packed tight!
I did not think I would ever get the bottom compartment packed back after doing an inventory of the kit.
Have you ever thought of including a contents list with room for dates and checkboxes for used items.

One question...
Are they supposed to come with the waistbelt? Or can I order that seperately?
