Does anyone have first hand experience with using Katadyn MP1 Water purification tabs to purify water in a non-lubricated latex condom? I'm wondering if it will damage the condom. In looking through previous posts I found a mention of using chlorine bleach to treat water in a condom and it split the condom after about an eight hour period of storage time. I'm wondering if the MP1 tabs would do the same (because they are not the same as straight chlorine) and I'm a little low on both MP1 tabs and condoms right now so I would rather not have to test this right now if someone out there already actually has first-hand knowledge.

refering to http://www.katadyn.ch/site/ch_en/home/outdoor_products/micropur/micropur_classic Micropur works by silver ions and not by chlorine. By that I can´t imagine a neative influence on latex.
But Micropur forte (!) consists of silver and additional chlorine and so I think that it could be a bad idea of using it in a condom.

I'm not a chemist so I have no clue about how those would affect latex but the website does seem to imply that those are chemically not the same as their Silver Ion-based products. Thoughts?
