Dear Fellows,

I want to add a small reliable top quality knife to my new Pocket Survival Pak from Doug. Do you know whether the Mini-RSK Mk1 will fit comfortably in the Pak? I'm thinking it is either this or the Fallkniven U2.

Best, Ligament

No. Here, I have the Gerber which was said to be the same size as the fallkniven U2, the mini-RSK, the PSP, and a digital camera. You be the judge:

I suppose it would be possible to jam the Gerber in there, at the cost of some of the flatness. It might even be possible to put the mini-RSK1 in there, but you'd probably have to take some stuff out.

A knife should be EDC anyways, since you've always got stuff to do with it. I have a Gerber on my keychain, and the mini-RSK1 in the same pocket.

Im at work so I cant test this but I am pretty sure (even based on Brenton's pic alone) that it would fit .... you just wouldnt get much else in there with it.

As you all know I change my kit as much as I change my socks. I currently keep a 3" knife blade and two scalpel blades in my kit and always always always carry a "real" knife (often the Mini RSK) as well.

Hey, Bian, there's no "r" in "Benton".

Hi
I have managed to stuff a Victorinox alox farmer with saw into the top of the PSP lengthwise. That way, you have not only a knife, but a saw, awl, can and bottle opener and screwdrivers. This is a backup knife which fits nicely across the top.
You should consider the SAKs.

Sorry... I think I must have fat-figured the kb with the "e" and "r" keys being right next to each other.
