Well guys I’m back! After several months of not being able to post for some stupid reason which not even Chris or my BTEC software development brother could solve. I tried again and again. And today it worked again...rather confused. But so EXCITED. Actually my hands are shaking with the excitement.

All my ideas which were prisoned for months, but will now be released. Can’t wait. Meanwhile during the months I was not able to post I continued reading other people's posts so I didn’t miss anything.

Now in case it happpens again I thought I better tell you the message in case it happens again. It went something like this:

"The host you are trying to send from is invalid"

Has anyone else got experience with this? Do you know what to do?

Yes! That's what was happening to me on my home computer for a couple months, so every time I wanted to post something I had to do it from work (shh, don't tell) or school. On a hunch though, earlier this week I disabled the firewall just before I wanted to post soemthing and it seems to have worked so far <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Now that I've said that, this post probably won't go through <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

edit: YIPPIE, it worked again <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yes, I have the same msg when I try to send a post with Norton firewall active.
So, I disable it just long enough for sending the post and activate it back again immediatly afterwards....
I guess it's possible to configure it in order to avoid this error msg, but haven't found how yet <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Ya I have had the same problem. Just had to designate the server as "trusted" and all is good.

I just configure my Norton Firewall (>>>Personal Firewal, >>> Internet Zone Control, www.equipped.org = trusted ) and ....

it didn't work...

Then I went into "Options", then "Advanced options", then Permit All for equipped.org.

Then it works....

um - beware, computer bigot here...

Get a Mac.
