Kind of a goofy question I suppose, but I searched Google and can't find an answer. I bought a bottle of 2% tincture of iodine from Walgreens to use for water purification. My question is: how do I get drops from the tube that comes with the bottle???
It looks like it is designed to hold an amount of iodine inside the end of the tube via adhesion and that the intent is to apply the iodine to a wound by touching the tip of the tube to a surface. I just can't figure out how to get it to output drops. Do I have to buy a bottle with a dropper and transfer the contents?? If so, where do I find a bottle with a dropper???
The bottle I got has a solid rod that's meant to dispense drops. Sounds like you got a different kind.
How about just touching the tube to the side of your water container? You might want to do some experiments first to determine how many drops the tube holds.
