Why did my prescient abilities tell me almost verbatim which arguments, platitudes and references would be rolled out with all the freshness of granduncle Henry in the viewing room at the mortuary? Firearms; their history, use and social impact are well served by inumerable websites. ETS has a different agenda. This social debate is better served elsewhere.

At least I clean my place every 2 years (or so.).

Sorry if I offended you !
I didn't mean to comment on your german spelling (I wouldn't dare to do that !!! ... or would I ?? ).
I was just trying to make sure it was not one of your many puns that I didn't understand...

As for home cleaning, I forgot to mention, that twice a year, when the wind is blowing good, I open doors on the west side and windows on the east side, creating a good draft ..... taking care (or at least moving ...) dust !
Ha ! I got you on that one !

You should know by now that I don't take offense easily as I learn from all corrections and counterpoints.

I knew I was spelling it wrong, and I know "Huzzah" does not mean sneeze, but I try to keep it as light as possible so we all have a good time (The only reason I am so opinionated sometimes is because I am right at those times, although I can not "IRREFUTABLY" prove it.).

OK. I don't get it, either.

So that I am completely understood: I was seconding Chris' remarks concerning firearms debates that sometimes rage out-of-control round here. I am a firearms owner, and am a firm supporter of the broadest reading of Second Amendment of the US Constitution as there can be. However, that is not why I am here - I hang round other sites for those debates.

That was my message.

And Frency - I am impressed with your bi-annual process of rearranging stationary particulates on household items by utilizing natural air curculation. Very Earth-friendly. I might suggest this to my wife as a more efficient method of dusting, instead of me going round the house with a Swiffer. Um, than again.... maybe not. Bon temps, mon ami!

You said "Huzzah".

I pretended you sneezed and misspelled "Gesundheit".

That was all there was to it.

You guys spend too much time talking about cleaning, which I suppose is still easier than doing it.

All too true. But actually doing it is the difference in sleeping you own bed, and sleeping on the sofa alone. First rule of domestic survival: If the wife ain't happy, ain't nobody gonna be happy.
