Just saw a move about some one in a survival situation.
I do not know if this belongs here or the other forum but I thought it was diferent enough from most hollywood survival movies to mention...
The movie was Africa
The interesting thing was that the point of the movie seemed to be that the most important thing to surviving is the will to survive.
I missed the start of the movie, but it seems like some fashion model gets upset and decides to drive around the bush and wreaks her car, and then (for some reason that I did not see, and others seem to have missed too,) wanders WAY WAY WAY away from the road.
After THAT bit of stupidity, it starts to get interesting...
I guess she has NO idea where she is, so she decides to try to walk out.(yea...I know...)
She makes some BAD decisions(she IS a fashion model after all <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />), but neve gives up...
One interesting idea was when she found an abandoned car, she burns the tires and get the steel cords from them to use.
This thing just seems to have a VERY different feel than most movies of the sort.
Warning, it does have the obligitory run away from a lion and jump off a HIGH cliff to get away said lion.
Also one obligitory nude scene(very nice though <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />)
