Well, the problem with that is, you're not going to be carrying a huge spool of paracord around with you on a daily basis, and the whole point of "EDC" is that you don't know what you're going to need it for when you set out in the morning.

If you're just using it around the house, your suggestion is fine, but you may also want to carry some around with you "just in case". Which is, after all, the point of this forum, no? <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
