Benchmade Gamer knife- anyone used one?

Just cruised through Stevens Creek Surplus to get a few goodies, and saw a small fixed blade knife that caught my eye, price wasn't bad either. It looks like a 4 inch or so blade, synthetic grip scales, full tang. It was around $30, if memory is good. Any opinions? I have never tried a Benchmade, except a rescue hook that is very good.

This one?It looks like a pretty good blade to put in a survival box- thin, thin sheath, nice size and shape, sturdy full tang. For that price it's probably not a good steel, but I don't know much about that sort of thing.

Thats the one! I was thinking about putting one in the trunk kit, or perhaps for hiking. I am not familiar with that steel, either. At that price range, it wouldn't hurt too much to try out, but maybe a ETS member has some experience with this knife.

I like the design, fairly practical and subdued, not as aggressive looking as some blades. I work on a budget and always look for a good deal, something I can afford without compromising quality too much. If anyone has used one of these I’d be interested in how you liked it as well.
Noticing the ridged sheath, what are some of your opinions on a hard plastic/nylon sheath opposed to a fabric or leather one? Any advantages or disadvantages for survival and practicality purposes?

I just got mine today. For a packed away survival kit where space is a premium, it seems ideal. The handle is very slim, as is the sheath. You can remove the belt clip from the sheath to make it even thinner. And the tang is full-handle, with just a little bit of plastic bolted on to make a grip.

Goatrider, thanks for the hands on review. Sounds like there is one of these knives in my future.
