I put the botton of the Photon II against the back of the mirror.I pushed on it in so many ways that IMHO it can not accidentally turn on.As others have stated,this is a back up plus for other gear I carry.Super Leatherman+Micra ,CMG Ultra LED light,Vic. Champion and A.G.Russell one hand knife to list a few. BOATMAN John
